Testimony on HB2767, Increasing Protection for Youth in County Detention Centers

JHA submits this testimony to the Illinois House Judiciary - Criminal Committee in support of HB2767, the bill to increase protection for youth in county juvenile detention centers by expanding the oversight powers of the existing Office of Independent Juvenile Ombudsman (OIJO). (March 2023)
